In 2016, Manchester was crowned European City of Science. To celebrate this landmark achievement, a collaboration project was undertaken to develop an infrastructure, for Manchester as a global centre for emerging digital trends.
I worked with Manchester Met, Salford University, scientists, artists, non-artist practitioners and US software innovator ‘Spark Compass’. Our project goal was to make work in response to the brief of celebrating Manchester as a place of innovation.
As one of the key collaborators on the project, I came up with ideas for content and material to be included.
I also went out to locations and filmed some of the Virtual Reality content for the 'virtual journey' to discover the human cost of the Manchester Ship Canal'
